Varsity Softball Wrapup

The Varsity Softball team had their best start in 15 years with an early 5-3 record under the leadership of Brian Fleury, assisted by his father, Ray Fleury. The highlight of the season was a stunning victory over perennial District power house Stone Bridge. Suffering a number of injuries, however, the team could not keep up that pace and concluded the regular season 8-15 against some very tough teams. They lost to McLean in the first round of the District tournament.
