TJ fields varsity, junior varsity, and freshman teams in sports every season. We compete in the Liberty District of the Virginia AAA Northern Region. The other schools in our district include Langley, Madison, Marshall, McLean, South Lakes, Stone Bridge, and Woodson.
TJ is a member of the Virginia High School League (VHSL); see their website for state athletic information. TJ is also proud to host on a regular basis the Liberty District Swim/Dive and Outdoor Track Meets, and the Annual Penultimate Track Meet.
Every student who plans to participate in athletics must have a physical (on the VHSL physical form) on file in the Activities Office or in the coaches hands before any participation (even try-outs or practice) can occur. Additionally, each prospective student-athlete must have turned in to the coach an Emergency Care Card and a signed Participation Policy.
