Booster Scholarships
The Colonial Athletic Boosters traditionally awards four $1,000.00 scholarships annually. Two boys and two girls are chosen from applications submitted by late May each year. Athletic participation and achievement, coupled with coaching recommendation(s), academic achievement, and extra-curricular interests combine to form a winning selection. A committee of non-senior Booster parent(s) and staff from the office of the Director of Student Activities makes the selections. Scholarship winners are announced at the Spring Sports Awards ceremony.
Scholarship Requirements
The parents of the applicant must be CURRENT year Colonial Athletic Booster members. The TJ student athlete must be a senior and member of a varsity team, fill out an application, and get a recommendation letter from his or her head coach.
