Athlete of the Year

Christo Landry Sr. - Outdoor Track
Four-time All-Met ends a stellar career as the area's best distance runner. At the Hartford (Conn.) Public Invitational, Landry was third in the two-mile with a time of 8:54.07, the fourth fastest ever run by a Virginia high schooler. Landry was also the area's best in the 1,600 (4:12.51). Will run for William & Mary.

Coach of the Year

Doug Millward - Girls Tennis
Team advanced to the Virginia AAA tournament this season for third consecutive year.

Jim Granger - Boys Crew
Team brought home the Edward T. Stotesbury Trophy, the first area team to do so since 1969. Led his varsity eight to gold medals at the Virginia Scholastic Rowing Championships and the National Capital Area Scholastic Rowing Association Championships, remaining undefeated on the Occoquan River all season.
